In Little Dublin there is something that is not so little. Fair! On the third weekend in June, Europe’s most sloping funfair will wind its way from the Kirmestor towards Schwelm in the town where the band was born. 8.5 % uphill or downhill is a European record!
The funfair is something like the mother of all celebrations in Little Dublin and looks back on over 200 years of history. Especially for us… I repeat, really, especially for us, the funfair group Pinass Brumse is building a funfair float in Irish-Celtic flair. This is an absolutely great honour for the whole band. There was no question at all when the funfair group asked us if we could play on this float during the funfair procession. We didn’t hesitate for long.
We can promise you: this will be an extraordinary show in every respect that you should not miss. As the funfair procession is the highlight of the funfair, tens of thousands of people will line the streets of Gevelsberg. This will be an absolute highlight in the band’s history.
