“Irish Summer Nights” is already the third new single on the market. It is a foretaste of the upcoming album “Wake the Rebels”, which will be released on 22.09.2023 and is currently already available for pre-order in our online shop. The song tells a poignant story about memories, growing up and the unstoppable passage of time.
The lyrics of “Irish Summer Nights” take listeners on an emotional journey. “Sorry dad, I don’t want to cause any trouble, it’s just because you have taught me my first chord, then I quickly found three more. Wrote some crap about amore, how I never loved like that again. On the verge of turning eighteen and sunsets that will never end”, are lines that reflect a time of light-heartedness and self-discovery.
Thrilling melodies and powerful vocals from lead vocalist Paddy Maguire and fiddler Mia Callaghan give the song its unique identity, capturing the signature energy and distinctive style of The O’Reillys and the Paddyhats.
Commenting on the single, Dwight O’Reilly said: “With ‘Irish Summer Nights’ we want to take our listeners on a journey through time. The song reminds us of how we grew up and how life has changed over the years. It’s a tribute to the past and an ode to the future.”
The single “Irish Summer Nights” is now available on all leading streaming platforms and as a digital download.
