Band presentation Ticket to Happiness
We are very pleased that Ticket to Happiness from Siegen and Münster will be live at our Pott of Gold Open Air 2025. We would like to briefly introduce the folk rock band to you.
What happens when a father, his son Yannick Helle, a banjo and a fiddle come together? Passionate folk sessions, energetic folk rock, drunken pub nights and a rousing mix of Irish folk (folk rock), a pinch of country and rock! What began as a small school project quickly became something more – the search for happiness led to Ticket to Happiness.
Departure to German texts
With energetic songs in German and English, Ticket to Happiness tell of Irish legends, wild nights and real life – sometimes to sing along to, sometimes with a strong message. Their sound combines the raw power of folk rock with the joie de vivre of a pub night. Handmade music to celebrate, dance and feel.
Driven by Evan Fitzpatrick, a singer with Irish-American roots and a rebellious attitude, the band has long been more than just music – it is family, passion and an invitation to enjoy life. And award-winning at that. They have already received the German Rock and Pop Award.

On August 16, 2025 it’s off. We are reviving our open air. This time at the Ennepebogen in our home town of Gevelsberg, Little Dublin. Look forward to a great line-up at the Pott Of Gold Open Air (POGOA) and a wonderful summer’s day in hopefully non-Irish weather.
In addition to a special show from us, you can expect a colorful mix from the European Celtic rock scene.

The festival will take place from 16.08.2025 at the Ennepebogen in 58285 Gevelsberg. Admission is at 2.30 pm. We will announce the running order in good time.
